Installation
- You can de-install the XingMPEG Player by running the setup program
and answering "Yes" when you are prompted to de-install.

no longer causes loss of the Direct Draw surface.

- The XingMPEG Driver's Configuration dialog can not be accessed
  through the MultiMedia Control Panel.

XingMPEG Player (XMPLAYER.EXE)
- Added support of Windows95 Plus Pac
- The Playback Settings dialog has a new option "Always Open at 100%".
- The Video Performance Diagnostic tools ability to accurately report
overall frame rate on PCs that achieve greater than approximately
35 frames per second has been improved. On fast PCs where the actual

an accurate frame rate. Inaccuracies may be experienced on very fast

Installation
- No Deinstall program is currently available.

XingMPEG Driver
- When accessing primary surface DCI on some display systems,
fatal errors may occur when resizing the video playback
  window during playback.
- During MPEG file playback, accessing dialog boxes within the application
that is controlling playback (e.g., the XingMPEG Player program or Media
Player) may be subject to delays.

XingMPEG Player (XMPLAYER.EXE)
- When the XingMPEG Player is accessing Direct Draw video acceleration,
clicking on the Track Bar during playback may cause a bright green
border to appear around the Track Bar.
- The Video Performance Diagnostic tool improperly reports the
overall frame rate on PC's that achieve greater than approximately
35 frames per second. On fast PCs where the actual achieved frame
rate may be 60fps or greater, the diagnostic tool will never report
a frame rate higher than approximately 35 frames per second. In such
situations, the following error usually appears: "There is a problem
  with Subsystems Performance Values".
- If the XingMPEG Driver's "Use Video Acceleration" option is disabled,
no warning of this condition is displayed when the Video Performance
test is run. Before running this test, make sure the XingMPEG Driver's
"Use Video Acceleration" option is enabled.
- The XingMPEG Player's Mute button does not reflect or affect the
current state of the Windows95 Audio Mute control. If you do not
hear audio when playing MPEG files, check the Windows95 Audio Mute
and Volume controls and make sure the XingMPEG Driver's Rate Control
  feature is enabled.
